The Maldives

At first glance you may recognise the Maldives as an “Instagram worthy” destination visited by your favourite influencer or celebrity. However there is so much more to the Maldives than meets the eye. Yes, there is luxury and relaxation. There is beautiful weather, too. But there is also an incredibly interesting culture – influenced by Sinhalese, Arab and South Indian heritage. As you can imagine, the food – especially the seafood – is fresh and delicious. There are also many options for exploring and adventuring – activities like snorkelling and diving are easily accessible. Visiting the Maldives does have a higher price tag than some other tropical destinations – but the cost is worth the reward of travelling to one of the most luxurious, secluded tropical destinations in the world.

The Whitsundays

We wouldn’t be Australian without mentioning the tropical paradise in our own backyard. The Whitsundays islands lie between northeast Queensland and The Great Barrier Reef. The majority of the islands are uninhabited – a few (e.g. Hamilton Island, Day Dream Island) house exotic resorts. Visit the Whitsundays to enjoy the best of Australia’s beaches and marine life. Whether you stay at one of the resorts of use Airlie Beach on the mainland as your home base to explore the islands – you MUST go to The Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is one of Australia’s most treasured stretches of ocean, and is considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world. You can go on a day-time snorkelling trip, helicopter over it or – better yet – stay a night on the Reef.

Fiji

Fiji is the perfect place to getaway from it all – a place where you can relax by the beach or pool, indulge in a spa treatment, enjoy nature and have a few adventures too! Visit Turtle Island, filming location of the 1980 movie ‘Blue Lagoon’. You can day trip to a series of other islands as well – Fiji is renowned for it’s pristine beaches and crystal blue water. Treat yourself to skincare by ‘Pure Fiji’, Fiji’s own spa brand. Go surfing in some of the world’s best waves. Immerse yourself in culture by spending a week with the local community on Vorovo Island. Party it up on the floating Cloud9 bar. There is something for every type of traveller in Fiji.

Bali

Bali is a very popular holiday destination, in part due to it’s affordability. In Bali you will get great value for money – the weather is great all year round, the Balinese are incredibly hospitable and friendly and there are tonnes of things to do. Stay at a high end resort and be pampered, shop at the local market, eat yummy food and visit the popular tourist destinations. We recommend venturing out beautiful waterfalls and hikes that will take your breath away, as well as learning about Balinese culture and religion by going to a temple.
